It wasn’t easy (and that was okay with me).

My three-month gig turned into a three-year scavenger hunt of discovering what it truly meant to live. The first year was marked by endless adventure, as I had never been to NYC before (it was my first flight and all). The second year felt like an obstacle course; career opportunities, which often seemed so promising at first, were so hard to catch, but I learned to hustle and grew stronger in my own abilities along the way. The third year, everything was starting to fall in place: signed my first lease, got a nice-paying (and sane) job, and established a cool circle of friends and networks.

New York has taught me so much about myself and has given me a glimpse of the world, inspiring me to continue digging for life’s jewels. In celebration of my third New York-aversary, I decided to launch this site to go back to my first love — visual storytelling — and document those treasures: the things that make me smile, the things that stretch me beyond my comfort zone, all of the things in life that challenge me to become a better person and equip me to make the world a better place worth living in.
