Team work makes the dream work.

I organized my first photoshoot with a team – a model, makeup artist and wardrobe stylist – and it felt fantastic.

After posting a casting call on Instagram, I re-connected with a model friend, Ariana, brainstormed with my stylist friend, Vava Charlie, and then hired the makeup artist, Elle, off of the Priv mobile app.

We started on the inside to test out my new studio equipment. I was working with two strobes and a makeshift backdrop at the time. But we ended up going outside, and that’s when things really started to heat up.

While it was fascinating being able to manipulate lighting in any way I wanted to while we were indoors, the outdoors still had my heart – it was there where we produced the greatest images.
